Ingrid Berg and Kalle Stenbäcken (pianist), premiere parts of the song cycle Madrigalerna, where composer Simon Söfelde set Karl Appelgren's mythological poem to music. The madrigal, which originated in 14th-century Italy, is based on a strong connection to the mother tongue – here Swedish. The music reflects the poem's themes of family, travel, seasons and love, and combines the mythological with the everyday life.
